The project for Quota Park Sharing Footpath is being applied by the company in which facilities will be provided like toilets, barbecues, picnic tables and playgrounds. The park is being developed so as to ensure that proper set of support could be provided to the people coming to enjoy their weekends and holidays. The essay is being developed in which information related with project management methodologies will be provided with the effect of which a project will be developed in an effective manner. Project methodologies will provide a set direction so that the project could get completed within the deadline and within the framework decided by the company. To complete the project in n effective manner it is required that proper planning and demonstration for the same should be taken into consideration. Both the aspects will help in obtaining the objectives of the project and will provide a better set of support to the project management company (Integrating Process and Work Breakdown Structure with Design Structure Matrix, 2010).
Before starting the project it is necessary that the project management team should set the objectives so as to complete the project in an appropriate manner (John, 2016). Objectives provides a set path to the organisation according to which project management team works and ensures that these objectives could be obtained as soon as possible.
To ensure that the project could get completed within the deadlines it is required that appropriate start as well as end date should be provided (Joslin and Müller, 2016). With the help of proper planning and proper evaluation of various set of aspects it is required that specific start as well as end date for the project should be provided with the effect of which organisation could complete the project within the required deadlines.
Setting the funding limits for the project will help in managing the waste and ensuring that the specific requirements of the project should get fulfilled (Larson, et. al., 2014). It is required that the appropriate funding should be planned so as to ensure that the requirements of the project could get fulfilled in an appropriate manner.
Human as well as non human resources are the other aspects which should be taken into consideration by the organisation so as to ensure that the project could get completed within the set deadlines (Müller, 2015). Monitoring and execution is another aspect which should be taken into consideration because without monitoring the project processes it is not possible that the organisation could fill the loops and breaches and could ensure that the project could be completed with quality.
And the last step is to close the project. It is required that the project should be closed after completing the same (Wojciech Macek, 2011).
Discription of Methodologies
Project methodology is the process of acquiring relevant information and distributes them to the people who are associated with the project. It also helps in providing direction about the functions of the organization to the people involved. By getting better direction regarding the project provides assistance to the management team to better support by which projects functions can be executed properly (Creswell, 2013).
There are various types of project methodologies that provide assistance to the team of project management and also to the agencies who are getting the project tender:
Agile- Through this method, fastest delivery of the products and services can be performed to the customers (Gunawan, 2015). The most important feature of agile is the prioritizing with the help of which assurance can be given to customers that products and services directly given to the consumers.
Rapid Application Development (RAD) – This software is very useful for the project team member by which recording and tracking of various functions can be performed to make sure that all the functions are being processed in a systematic way. This software is also helpful to make required alteration into the project in order to complete it in a better way. There are several structured and collaborating methods that are useful to fulfill the project necessities and fill up all the breaches and loop (Müller, 2015).
PRINCE 2 –In UK, government uses this methodology at its most and also it is used by the private companies in order to make their project successful. Through this method project can be executed in an effective and systematic manner (Wells, 2012). It possesses better practices by which it can give better guidance to the team of project management through which project can be executed within the given time frame.
Waterfall – Waterfall is considered as the beneficial strategy as it is used in development of software and business construction. There are several variety of waterfall are constructing by using AKA model, designing, debugging and testing, maintenance, installation and specification requirement. It is important to think about these features for a construction business as well as it should be assured that the entire requirement are fulfilling in a proper manner (John, 2016).
Justification of Methodologies With Case
Quota Park Shared Footpath is a project in which it is required that appropriate strategies should be applied so that work could be processed in a proper manner. With the help of the evaluations of various aspects related with the methodologies and the construction business it is required that in the project of Quota Park Shared Footpath, waterfall technique should be applied so that all set of requirements related with the project could get fulfilled.
On the basis of this project report, construction business must include two techniques on that project management team should be focused upon are Rapid application method (RAD) and waterfall technique by which a proper set of guidance to be provided to the organization to make proper assurance of completing the project of Quota Park Shared Footpath within given timeframe and with quality as well. (Joslin and Müller, 2016). There are six phases of Waterfall model which will provide appropriate set of support for the construction of Quota Park Shared Footpath. These phases are:
It is required that the analysis should be done. Analysis will help in gathering appropriate information related with the requirements of the project with the help of which proper set of direction will be provided to the project management team (Larson, et. al., 2014).
Second phase of waterfall model is design phase in which avails a blueprint of the project. It is a phase which helps in assuring that all the aspects of the project should be brought on paper with the help of which future processes related with the project could be managed.
Then the implementation of all the planned processes is being done. This phase avails in implementing all the planned processes with the help of which further processes of Quota Park Shared Footpath are being processed (Wells, 2012).
Then testing of all the processes is being done in which various processes related with the project are being tested like whether the construction and footpath is being done in an appropriate manner or not, whether all the procedures are followed appropriately or whether each and every things are placed in a right order or not.
Deployment of the project is the next process which is required to be done after completion of the same. After completion of all the processes and when testing is being done the project is being deployed and further processes are being processed (Bent, 2015).
Maintenance is the last aspect in which assurance is being made that the park as well as footpath should remain maintained and attractive which could help the people in enjoying their weekends as well as holidays.

With the project management methodologies it is concluded that important set of techniques and methods must be used to make sure that all the requirement and necessities of the project of Quota Park Shared Footpath have been fulfilled in an effective and systemic manner. Monitoring and controlling of undertaken project is very useful by which unnecessary loops and barriers can be identified easily and develop appropriate strategy to mitigate and eliminate them by which organization can continue its functioning without any disturbance. Monitoring and controlling provide a proper set of direction and guidance to the project management team that needs to be followed by them systematically and complete their tasks within proper time and with stated quality to make their undertaken project successful. Through this project proper set of services to be provided to the customers where they can came again to visit the park and enjoy it with their most. By including project management methodologies into the undergoing project helps the organization to attract more customers and by which organization can get more tender of the associated project and get more profit with the effect of which organization can be able to maintain its position into the market and give high competition to its competitors.
